Welcome to the Hebraic Institute of Theology and School of Ministry (HIT or HITSOM). We are so glad that you have chosen to become a part of the HITSOM family.
HITSOM is committed to teaching YHWH's Word as frequently as possible in every program. No filler courses will be found in our curricula; instead, our programs overflow with actual scriptural and biblical explanations. Our curricula incorporate the study of the Old Testament, Biblical Hebrew, the Messianic New Testament, and Biblical Greek.
Minister Carnes' Education:
Associate of Applied Science - Translation and Interpretation
Bachelor of Science - Electronic Technology
Master of Arts - Theological Studies (Theology, Hebrew and Greek)
Doctor of Ministry - Pastoral Leadership
Post Graduate Studies - Chaplaincy
Doctor of Philosophy - Bible Exposition (in progress)
HITSOM was established in 2020, and we will continue to stay on the leading edge of distance biblical and scriptural education.
HITSOM offers thorough scriptural and biblical-based curricula. HITSOM offers programs at the most affordable tuition rate in the world. Surely, we could charge more for our programs, and we could become like other seminaries and universities that have chosen to follow the pattern of secular education.
Instead, HITSOM has chosen to continue to keep scriptural and biblical academics as our focus. This focus means that Hebraic Institute offers monthly payment plans and low tuition rates for all programs and courses.
While this may draw criticism from some within the circles of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, HITSOM will not waiver from its commitment to the following, "Minister to serve YHWH and His people, but never minister to serve debt."
Secondly, our goal is to produce quality religious education at an extremely low price. Thirdly, our goal in religious education is to remain neutral on doctrinal beliefs. However, we will continue to strive for excellence in the fundamental and foundational elements of education in theology.
Accreditation
It is not the goal of HITSOM to seek regional or national accreditation through Christian or Jewish accrediting agencies. We do believe in the separation of religion and state. Our curricula are designed based on the models of seminaries and university schools of divinity, but the similarity ends due to our content. We do not offer degrees
I want to thank you for allowing us to visit with you in these few lines.
In YHWH's Service,
Minister Milt Carnes, DMin.
